Mercer and Glasser discusses Saturday defeat and series loss

Maryland is at last looking like the conference powerhouse that the national media were predicting that they would be. The Terrapins are crushing the baseball and today’s Maryland starter, Kyle McCoy was excellent at inducing weak contact. Maryland defeated Indiana 16-2, clinching the weekend series and taking sole possession of the league lead.
Josh Pyne was the only Hoosier with a multi-hit day, one of those an RBI single, and Carter Mathison hit his second home run of the weekend driving in the Hoosiers only other run of the game. After the contest, the media spoke with Head Coach Jeff Mercer and shortstop Phillip Glasser.
