Indiana dominates Ohio to complete the series sweep

Despite not capitalizing on every opportunity, the Indiana Baseball team took care of business, defeating the Ohio Bobcats 9-2 completing a weekend sweep. The Hoosiers improved to 30-11 on the year, lead by a three-hit effort from sophomore third baseman Josh Pyne. Bobby Whalen and Devin Taylor contributed home runs. Freshman righty Ethan Phillips picked up the win with 3.2 innings of scoreless and hitless middle relief, while Freshman righty Brayden Risedorph completed a three-inning scoreless save. After the game the media met with head cocah Jeff Mercer as well as Pyne and Risedorph.
Next up the Hoosiers travel to Muncie for more MAC-tion, this time on the road at Ball State for a single midweek game at 3pm Tuesday. Then the comes the series likely to decide the lead in the Big Ten when Maryland comes to Bloomington starting at 6pm Friday.
