Indiana holds off a second straight ninth inning comeback to extend their winning streak to five games. Connor Foley slams the door.

Indiana baseball used a monster home run off the bat of Devin Taylor as well as some great hitting by Brock Tibbitts, Phillip Glasser, and Bobby Whalen to get a big lead in the non-conference series opener vs. Ohio. Ryan Kraft appeared human for the first time in several outings, but left with a lead, and Connor Foley got the final three outs to earn his first career save. After the game the media met with head coach Jeff Mercer, Tibbitts, and Foley.
Despite not playing a conference series, losses by Nebraska and Maryland put Indiana into first place in the Big Ten (B1G) standings. The Ohio series continues Saturday at 1pm. Hoosier ace Luke Sinnard will be on the bump.
