Kyle Schwarber’s 28th bomb of the season is the 100th of his MLB career.

Schwarber hit 18 home runs during his high school playing days at Middletown High School in Ohio. Then he added 40 more during his days as a Hoosier. And tonight, in terms of games played, he becomes the fastest Chicago Cub to hit the milestone.
Schwarber joins Ted Kluszewski as only the 2nd Hoosier Baseball Alum to reach triple digits. He has quite the climb to pass Ted Kluszewski and his 279 long balls but I’m not betting against him.
