iubase.com and Talking Hoosier Baseball are looking for an IU Bloomington student to become a reporter intern for the Spring Semester*

The iubase.com team is looking for an intern to help with coverage of the baseball team for the 2022 Spring Semester.
Expected duties will be presence in the press box for most, if not all, home games and press conferences as we will have Media Credentials for these events (we understand that there may be some conflicts with classes). The intern will be expected to post to social media with quality updates at least once per inning.
Other responsibilities will include writing post game recaps of games attended, being
available post game to ask questions, obtain quotes, and/or capture a video recap of coach and player interviews. The intern will also record a brief video recap of weekend series to be a part of our weekly Talking Hoosier Baseball podcast.
With these responsibilities the 100 hours required for 2 credits should be achievable.
We insist that all applicants are knowledgeable and passionate about the game of baseball. The core iubase.com audience is relatively small, but very baseball savvy and have come to expect insights from our work that go beyond what the casual fan may expect.
