Coach Mercer discusses Senior Night extra inning loss

Indiana Baseball forced extra innings with a pair of home runs in the bottom of the ninth inning on Senior Night Friday, but free passes allowed Illinois to win it in the 10th inning. Will Moore and Hogan Denny had multi-hit days including the home runs for each of them in the 9th. The media met with head coach Jeff Mercer following the contest.
The series will be decided in a Saturday 2pm rubber match, which will also be Indiana’s last game of the season. See You at the Bart.
