Top 9th: Georgetown 3, Indiana 4 (FINAL)
Ryan Kraft is back out to attempt his second save of the year. Kraft is in a jam with his first pitch as a Pyne error allows a lead-off baserunner (the tying run). A sac bunt moves the tying run to scoring position. A pinch hitter chases a Kraft pitch out of the zone for out number two. Georgetown puts a pinch runner at second. Krafty strikes out the final batter earning his second save of the year!
Bottom 8th: Georgetown 3, Indiana 4
Pyne gets a hit, but Mathison flies out to center to end the inning.
Top 8th: Georgetown 3, Indiana 4
Ryan Kraft is the new pitcher. He produces a quick fly ball out to Jessee in right field. Kraft strikes the batter out on a 2-2 slider. Glasser fields a hopper and throws out the runner, which holds up under replay review.
Bottom 7th: Georgetown 3, Indiana 4
Colopy grounds out to start the inning. Tyler Cerny is 3-3 with a single. Cerny advances to second base on a Frye BALK! Pete Serruto jam shot gets into the outfield for a single. Cerny has to hold up at third. Frye’s day is done. ONe out, runners on the corners for Phillip Glasser. New pitcher is a lefty with two of the next three Hoosier hitters being left handed. An RBI fielder’s choice gives the Hoosiers a 1-run lead. Phillip Glasser gets thrown out attempting to steal to end the inning.
Top 7th: Georgetown 3, Indiana 3
Sinnard’s day is done, officially with a quality start. Craig Yoho is the new Hoosier pitcher. Yoho strikes out his first batter looking. Cerny takes care of a ground ball for the second out. A base hit gets a two-out base runner for Georgetown. A walk puts a runner in scoring position, but Yoho strikes out the last batter to end the threat.
Bottom 6th: Georgetown 3, Indiana 3
Tyler Cerny leads off the inning with a double. Peter Serruto moves Cerny to third with a groundout to short. Phillip Glasser gets on via hit-by-pitch. Whalen walks to load the bases for Jessee. Jessee comes through with a 2-RBI single. RHP Carson Frye is the new Hoya pitcher. Josh Pyne fouls three two-strike pitches and works a walk, the first surrendered by Frye this season loading the bases again. Mathison hits a soft ground ball which plates Whalen, tying the game. Tibbitts grounds out to end the inning.
Top 6th: Georgetown 3, Indiana 0
Sinnard surrenders a two-out single. Hunter Jessee, who has swapped with Mathison, catches a shallow fly ball for out number two. Sinnard comes back from 3-0 to load the count and induce an easy groundout.
Bottom 5th: Georgetown 3, Indiana 0
Mathison works a lead-off walk. Brock Tibbitts just missed a home run foul and then lines out to center. Morgan Colopy pinch hits for Ellis and grounds into an inning-ending ground ball double play.
Top 5th: Georgetown 3, Indiana 0
Sinnard gets two quick contact outs and ends the inning on a strikeout.
Bottom 4th: Georgetown 3, Indiana 0
Hoosiers now get their second look at Georgetown’s Andrew Williams with the top of the order up. Glasser is retired on a ground ball. Bobby Whalen gets on via an infield single. Jessee strikes out on an 0-2 pitch. Whalen advances to second on a stolen base, but Pyne goes down on strikes as well.
Top 4th: Georgetown 3, Indiana 0
Sinnard strikes out the first batter of the inning. Citron walks on a full count. Sinnard picks Citron off and ends the inning with another strikeout.
Bottom 3rd: Georgetown 3, Indiana 0
Matthew Ellis strikes out to lead off the inning. Tyler Cerny legs out an infield single for the first Hoosier baserunner of the game. Cerny is erased on a 5-4-3 double play off the bat of Peter Serruto.
Top 3rd: Georgetown 3, Indiana 0
Sinnard walks the nine-hole hitter, who promptly steals second base and scores on an RBI single to right. Georgetown is seeing Sinnard much better the second time through the order and drives in another via an RBI double to left. The inning ends on a line out to Whalen in center.
Bottom 2nd: Georgetown 1, Indiana 0
Josh Pyne lines out. Mathison is out on a warning track fly out as the wind is blowing in today. Tibbitts grounds out.
Top 2nd: Georgetown 1, Indiana 0
Sinnard gets two outs on three pitches. Andrew Citron hits a double off of Pyne’s glove. Sinnard gets a quick strikeout to end the threat.
Bottom 1st: Georgetown 1, Indiana 0
Phillip Glasser is retired for the first time this weekend via a groundout. Bobby Whalen strikes out. Jessee grounds out via a bang-bang play at first.
Top 1st: Georgetown 1, Indiana 0
Indiana is the designated home team in this neutral site game. Luke Sinnard is the Indiana pitcher, going for his third win of the season. A routine fly to right is dropped by Carter Mathison. A sac bunt puts a runner on third with one out. Georgetown plates an unearned run on a sacrifice fly. Sinnard gets a looking strike out to end the inning.

Preview
Indiana has a quick turn around after losing 17-4 to East Carolina Friday night. East Carolina did so much damage all night with runners on, while Indiana really struggled with runners in scoring position. Most of Indiana’s offense was Phillip Glasser who was 4-4 with two doubles and a home run.
Up and coming Big East program Georgetown is next on the docket. Luke Sinnard, IU’s best performing starting pitcher in the first two weekends, moves up from Sunday to Saturday. Pete Serruto is catching his second game of the weekend after impressing with his arm and getting a key hit last Sunday.
