Indiana Baseball announced that the mid-week game at Cincinnati on Tuesday night is cancelled and will not be made up. Both teams are 14-13 in their respective conferences. Reading between the lines is likely both teams would prefer to save pitching for their conference weekends.
Cincinnati is fighting for an at-large bid, but needs a series win to finish over .500 in the Big 12. Indiana needs to setup its pitching for a run at the automatic bid in the B1G Tournament starting in one week. Indiana plays Michigan starting Thursday at 6pm.
