Media meets with Buhr, Mitchell, and Mercer following 12-6 series clinching win at home on Saturday

Indiana bats came alive against a quintet of Rutgers pitchers to clinch a fourth straight B1G series victory on Saturday. Drew Buhr got the win on the mound with 5.0 innings of scoreless relief. Devin Taylor had two home runs and a triple from the lead-off spot. Both teams played stellar defense, including right fielder Nick Mitchell who made a leaping grab up against the right field wall in the top of the seventh inning. The media met with Buhr, Mitchell, and head coach Jeff Mercer following the game.
