Jeff Mercer | Tony Neubeck | Cole Decker
By Carl James @jovian34 March 21st, 2026
Indiana Baseball was down 2-0 in the bottom of the 5th inning and hitless. Minnesota starter Isaac Morton was electric and was cruising through the IU lineup. Then Brayden Ricketts went opposite field to land a fly ball in the Hoosier bullpen. Next at-bat, Cole Decker did the same thing. Later that inning with two on, Jake Hanley near hit the same spot.

Hoosier starter Tony Neubeck tossed a quality start for the win, with 6 innings, giving up just 2 runs. The media met with head coach Jeff Mercer, Neubeck, and Decker after the contest.

The Hoosiers and Gophers wrap the series tomorrow, Sunday, at 12:30pm. This is 30 minutes before the originally schedule time. See you at the Bart!
