Field of 64 algorithm looking more realistic now.
The first posting I had with the algorithm was fun but the lack of any significant conference play hurt the results. Now that most conferences have at least two series in the books, the results are starting to take better shape. That being said, this is not a prediction. It’s only a “real time” look as if “the season ended today”.
It has the benefit of being results based. Teams can play their way onto this list in future weeks. This model has the Hoosiers going to Louisville as a regional 3-seed. The Cardinals are the overall #14 seed.
