Our final fall look at the 2025 Indiana Hoosier Baseball team against an outside opponent will commence tomorrow against Big 12 program Cincinnati at 1pm ET Saturday. We will be on-site with updates via X and our own live game blog.
Indiana will have the opportunity to build off of what they have learned from their match-up two weeks ago at Louisville and show off a lot of new talent, both transfers and freshman, for the hometown fans. One player we are very interested in seeing is Indiana State transfer Cole Gilley, who missed the Louisville trip with illness, but will hopefully be available to toe the rubber for an inning in this contest.
In total, Indiana will need to cover 18 innings on the mound, and do so without likely 2025 starter Ryan Kraft, who has been shutdown after an intense summer where he earned Northwoods League Pitcher of the Year Honors, while leading his team to a championship. The Hoosiers hope to build on a lot of solid pitching performances (most just an inning) from over a dozen pitchers two weeks ago.
Offensively, the Hoosiers will be trying to turn things around from a somewhat disappointing outing in Louisville. One exception to that disappointment is Louisville transfer Korbyn Dickerson who went 5-6 with a natural cycle in the first exhibition.
