Grant Richardson is selected as Co Player of the week by the Big Ten for week one.

- Helped the Hoosiers open the season with a 7-2 victory at No. 11 LSU on Saturday
- Recorded five RBI on six hits and scored four runs while batting .500 on the week
- Hit a double, a triple and a home run as he registered a .538 on-base percentage and 1.000 slugging percentage
- Wins his second career Big Ten Player of the Week award and first of the season
