Jeff Mercer addresses team hitting woes over the series

Indiana Baseball dropped the rubber match to Washington Sunday at Bart Kaufman Field. The Hoosiers stranded 12 batters, including hitting into two inning-ending double plays with the bases loaded. Reagan Rivera tossed over 4 innings allowing four runs and keeping the Hoosiers in the game. The Huskies scored the next 9 runs in the game on the IU bullpen and the Hoosier offense could not drive runners in. The media met with head coach Jeff Mercer following the loss.
