Hoosiers and Nittany Lions will play two at noon on Friday and conclude the series with a 1pm game on Sunday

Indiana Baseball announced a change to the coming weekend schedule. The Hoosiers will start the weekend on Friday at 12noon with a planned doubleheader at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park in State College, PA. Our guess is this is due to temperatures set to dip below 30°F on Saturday. The B1G does not allow a game to begin unless the AccuWeather RealFeel® is at least 27°F when the game begins.
Hoosier pitching should be lined up well, given they also played a double header last Friday. Ben Grable and Gavin Seebold will both be available to start on a full 6-days of rest. Cole Gilley was described by head coach Jeff Mercer as “tight” on Saturday. We are not sure on his status for Sunday, but if he goes, he will be on 7-days of rest after a shorter than normal outing.
I will be live blogging the second game Friday evening and the Sunday games for iubase.com. We will not have a live game blog Friday afternoon as we all have work conflicts.
