Saturday’s game with Minnesota was postponed in the bottom of the second inning due to rain and lightning. Bradley Brehmer had allowed no runs on one hit. The game resumed Sunday morning. Brehmer was replaced by Ty Bothwell who had a career outing. Sitting 92-93 MPH on his fastball and touching 94, Bothwell was literally un-hittable on the day in his seven innings.
Indiana scored 12 runs by plating runs in 5 inning of the eight innings they came to the plate. Indiana moves to 24-26 on the season, 10-10 in the B1G. Indiana and Minnesota will finish the series with a first pitch of 2:10pm.
